Amy is a scientific communications specialist, with over half a decade’s experience in the field of life sciences and research.

Having specialized in Biochemistry, Amy has accumulated an array of experience across the areas of macromolecular recognition, genome regulation and protein dynamics.

Upon joining the Observational and Pragmatic Research Institute (OPRI), Amy applied her knowledge to public health, with a sustained interest in real-life research, clinical trials and chronic disease management.

Since then, Amy has played an active role in delivering an international, scalable Quality Improvement programme called CONQUEST, focusing on the management of high-risk Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

As the company’s Global Research Collaboration Lead, Amy routinely collaborates with Key Opinion Leaders and Steering Committee members to drive research projects forward, and has been featured as a named co-author on 5+ publications showcasing original research across the UK, US and Australia.

Once research is complete, Amy creates compelling company communication pieces for diverse external target audiences, that emphasise the value of the research conducted and highlight opportunities to enhance patient care.

Outside of work, Amy can often be found outdoors on the water, boating or scuba diving.
