Jeffrey Chan

​Having graduated with a medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr Jeffrey Chan is a clinical researcher in cardiology and general internal medicine. His research focuses on the epidemiology, prognostication, and detection of heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, with special interest in echocardiography. He is also experienced in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and is an advocate for using trial sequential analyses in appropriate meta-analyses. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed original studies, meta-analyses and reviews in international medical journals. In addition to his engagements with OPRI, Dr Chan is currently a project lead and peer mentor at the Cardiovascular Analytics Group (Hong Kong – China – United Kingdom collaboration), and collaborates extensively with international investigators.
