He has experience with routinely collected healthcare data, quality improvement, health services and applied research. His broad experience provides him with clinical understanding of data and the ability to translate real-world data into research and actual healthcare improvement. He provides research implementation and clinical guidance to the organisation as a member of OPRI's Clinical Faculty.
Francis is also the Data Custodian and Information Governance Lead for OPRI and the Optimum Patient Care (OPC) group. He oversees governance, data collection, linkage and optimisation the group's real-world databases for research and quality improvement. He hopes to continue to contribute to initiatives for improving real-life research and outcomes for patients.
