CAPTURED is a clinical trial that brings algorithm technology and quality improvement support into clinical practice for faster diagnosis of rare and difficult to diagnose disease

On average, patients see five doctors, receive three misdiagnoses and must wait four years before correct diagnosis (Rare Disease UK, 2016).

Algorithms can identify patients at risk from specific rare diseases enables patients to access correct care and treatments

Introducing CAPTURED

CAPTURED is a novel clinical trial to evaluate the use of algorithm technology and quality improvement support for identifying, testing and referring patients at high probability of specific rare or difficult to diagnose disease.

CAPTURED will be run over 5 years.
